Don't be Selective, Church Tells Buhari

Paul Obi
As the President Muhammadu Buhari's administration signals the commencement of the trial of corrupt persons in former President Goodluck Jonathan's government, the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria on Wednesday urged the president to be fair and not to be selective in his approach.
This came as the church planned to raise the sum of N50 million for intervention on Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and other developmental projects in the north.
Speaking at the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Synod of the North, the Moderator, Rev. Ini Ukpuho said any attempt by the Buhari government to be biased in the trial of corrupt people will be detriment to basic tenets of democracy and change upon which the government was formed.
