Speaker Gharti takes oath.

Newly elected Speaker Onsari Gharti has today taken oath of office and secrecy. 
President Dr Ram Baran Yadav administered oath of office and secrecy to Speaker Gharti at a special programme organised at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas. 
Present on the occasion were Vice-President Paramananda Jha, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Acting Chief Justice Girish Chandra Lal, Ministers, parliamentarians and chief of security bodies and chief and representatives of diplomatic missions, among others. 
Gharti was elected to the post of Speaker on October 16. She was elected from Rolpa Constituency No 2 from the UCPN (Maoist).
