Masked men kill four policemen in Egypt's Giza
Unknown gunmen shot dead four policemen in an attack near Cairo, state-run newspaper al-Ahram reported.
The masked assailants riding a motorbike on Saturday opened fire at a security checkpoint in Giza, a city famed for the pyramids, according to the report. The attackers escaped.
No group has claimed responsibility.
The attack comes four days after seven people, including two judges, four policemen and a civilian, were killed in a bombing attack in the restive northern Sinai.
An affiliate of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group claimed responsibility for that attack.
Egypt has seen a spate of deadly attacks since the military's 2013 overthrow of President Mohamed Morsi after massive street protests against his rule.
