Deadly Istanbul Bombing Turkish Police Releases Russian Suspect

A Russian citizen has been released after being detained by Turkish police in connection to a terrorist attack in Istanbul earlier this week, a correspondent for Russia's Kommersant business daily said Friday.
"I spoke again to [Aidar] Suleimanov. He confirms he's been cleared of charges and released, his dossier has been passed on to the migration services," journalist Grigory Tumanov said on Twitter.
Police in the Turkish city of Antalya have confirmed Suleimanov's release to state-run news agency RIA Novosti.
Suleimanov was one of three Russian nationals detained after a series of raids against suspected Islamic insurgents earlier this week.
The Russians were detained in Antalya on suspicion of providing logistical support to the Islamic State militant group, the Turkish state-run Anadolu news agency reported Wednesday.
Ten German tourists were killed in Tuesday's suicide bombing in a historical district of the Turkish capital and 15 others were wounded, most of whom foreigners.
Islamic State is a terrorist organization banned in Russia.
