Mydreamconnect social week: What is it that teenagers need to grow up healthy?

Is it COMPETENCE?
Is it CONFIDENCE?
Is it CONNECTIONS?
Is it CHARACTER?
Is it COMPASSION?
or ALL PUT TOGETHER?
The truth is, small changes at the root level of belief will produce amazing changes in behavior and performance; and this is more starkly in children than in adults. Because children are more sensitive to suggestions and changing belief. For example if a child believes s/he is good at a subject or an activity, s/he will always perform better - the better performance will fuel the enhanced self-belief and s/he will go on to excel.
So for Teenagers to grow healthy, there's a need for parents, mentors, guardians or care-givers to understand developmental assets and begin to focus on activities that nurtures developmental assets in teenagers. If this is properly done you will see that your teenager will begin to make better choices based on intuition and instinctively knowing the right thing to do - because you'd be helping her/him to learn about SELF which helps her/him to better understand.
* how to think,
* how to manage feelings,
* what his true purpose is, and
* how to live a truly rich life by developing richly.
