10 Dead After two Explosions Hit St. Petersburg Metro.

At least ten people have died in two explosions on the St. Petersburg Metro.
Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry confirmed that two explosions took place at the Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologicheskiy Institut stations at approximately 2:30 P.M. local time.

A spokesperson for the governor of St. Petersburg confirmed that at least 10 people had died and at least 50 had been injured.

In a statement, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it was too early to call the incident a terrorist attack, but confirmed that he was in touch with the head of Russia's Federal Security Service.

The St. Petersburg metro has now been closed, while Moscow metro is still operating with extra security measures in place, officials announced on Twitter.
