Togolese in Lagos cult clash.
A Togolese and one other person were killed during a cult clash in Oworonshoki area of Lagos on Thursday night.
At least 20 other persons were injured in the clash that occurred at Awanotu junction at about 10:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The Togolese, who was on a visit to his brother, was beheaded by the cultists.
The other victim was hit by a stray bullet fired by the miscreants.
Our correspondent gathered that the hoodlums seized the opportunity to rob residents who were eating noodles at a roadside snack shop.
A resident said: ‘’The Togolese boy that was killed is not a member of any cult group. We do not know why they killed him.’’
Another resident, Mope, said the foreigner came to stay with his brother in order to get a job, adding that he was at the snack shop because his brother was not around at the time of the incident.
She said: “His brother was not around. So, he went to a shop to buy noodles. Police came after the cultists have carried out their plots. The police and the criminals later engaged in gun duel.”
