Brand USA Marketing Innovation Award- Goes to Beach-Inspector.com

There were almost 2,000 people this year at the PhocusWright Conference 2017 in Ft. Lauderdale/Florida. Although not an unusually high number, the outstanding character of the event stems from the above average importance of participants at the conference. More than half of all those present belonged to either the C-level or V-level of the world's leading tourist and travel technology companies and came from all parts of the world to the most important annual global event of the travel industry.

 
For the first time in the company's history Beach-Inspector.com undertook the journey to the annual highlight for the travel industry. For the Berlin start-up company, which was founded in 2015 and which digitalises beaches around the world, the main motivation was to have one of the valuable presentation slots on the main stage at the conference.

This is when companies have six minutes on stage to present their innovations, which is followed by the so-called "dragon round" in which top managers of the industry have the opportunity to ask critical questions about the concepts which have been presented. At the end of the presentations the dragons vote for the winners in five different categories.

"Just to have the opportunity to present your company there is a great honour and at the same time a marvellous opportunity" was how Anton Werner described taking part at the conference. The co-founder of Beach-Inspector also took responsibility for the presentation (link to presentation on YouTube) in Florida. "The fact that we could return to Germany with an award made our first visit to the PhocusWright Conference a complete success for Beach-Inspector.com".

The BRAND USA INNOVATION AWARD is presented to the company with the best new idea in the field of Tourism Marketing. The founding team of the beach experts concluded: "The recognition of Beach-Inspector.com with this prestigious award of BRAND USA has increased our presence within the travel industry. The quality of our meetings in Florida and the large interest shown in our products and content by the travel industry is the prefect springboard for our imminent international launch."
