Germany's economy declines in December
Investor confidence in Germany’s economy fell in December 2017,
beating forecasts of its stability on the back of lower optimism about
the country’s business, the Ifo Institute for Economic Research's report
showed on Tuesday.
Investor Confidence Index dropped to 117.2 points in December from 117.6 points a month earlier, the data said.
Germany's economy grew to 125.4 points this month, up from 124.5 points the month before.
Germany's construction sector rose to 18.9 points in December compared to 17.2 points in November, according to Ifo Institute's data.
By 10:57 am GMT, Euro advanced 0.1 against the dollar to $1.1810.
