The Noise Over Sex Doll And Robot

The era is fast approaching when its will be too difficult to differentiate a robotics and humanities. Its now happening when sex doll was introduced, many people  across the continent were only seeing the advantages. Perhaps a few were mad at the invention looking at the hazard and the implications it may forebear. No one was looking at it in this perspective, humans and robots are already merging.

In recent year robotics had found its way into our everyday lives, changing them into fundamental ways, “Design has a central role to play in this process, for it is designers who shape the interfaces between humans and machines.

Debates about artificial intelligence has oscillated between utopian and dystopian visions, between the hope of a better, technologically advanced world and the fear of dis-empowerment. Some years back we can recollect when we use to watch films like RoboCop, the terminator, blade runner,and the matrix either mixture of robots and human or ordinarily robot, we would termed them fictional and impossible in our reality world,but the advent is already happening and human and robots are likely to merged in years to comes.

However, the term ‘robot’ was coined by a Czech playwright called Karel Capek, in 1920, in his work Rossum’s Universal Robots. 

The term comes from the Czech word “robota”, meaning forced labourer or serf. The plot of Capek’s play has become archetypal, spawning countless imitators: an army of mechanical slaves rise up and overthrow their human masters.

Attitudes to artificial life and intelligence have always oscillated between fear and fascination.

Also designee's began by assuming that robots would have to mimic the human body  It’s taken the best part of a century for designers to realise that robots don’t need to seem human to share our world. On the contrary, they need to fade into the background, and become part of the furniture.

Today’s robots still seem like machines pretending to be humans. The funny thing about robots is you probably won’t even know they’re there. However there are many robots out there that we don't really know they are robot, it was just like the first time I saw a sex doll.

I was pretty not sure of it in the first instance not after several observations. Though for us now robot seem more strange and too odd to interrelate with, but technologist are trying to make them  an alternative assistant to human services. Which undoubtedly can pose a great threat to our coexistence as a human being.

More so, Robot exhibition shows, today’s robots now looks human performs all sorts of human functions.They’re all around us, and they’re already re-configuring the world we live in.

From  to smartphones, to drones , from Apple’s Siri to Amazon’s Alexa, robots are already doing a lot of the things we can do, except now they’re often doing them better. Our current Martian explorer is not a human but a machine: Nasa’s Curiosity Rover is roaming the Red Planet’s surface, sending selfies back to Earth.

Some years ago we seem to see robots has a scientific fictitious elements, but its now very glaring in our world today the realism in the myth of scientific and digitalis inventions. The periods of stone age, analogue is past, the era of technology and digitalis entity is now approaching. Robot are now assumed to  simplifies our world, but my fear is that the governments needs to start the regulations of what of ever designee most tell a designer most design.

Humans have created mechanical add-ons since the first armour and spectacles were invented,the creation of exoskeletons to enhance our natural abilities and implanting chips beneath our skin that double as keys and pass codes.

Robots designers will be left with the problems of what to design, though robotic productions would be base on it utility purposes. What the people intend to use it for, also the importance of robot are more effective and sensible than the sex doll invention. As  some robot had been design to take care of a homes and other valuable services.
