FOR A BETTER NIGERIA: WE NEED A BETTER STRATGIST AND EFFECTIVE MANGER.

If the standard of living of any advance and developing countries is measured by her Gross Domestic Products GDP, and statically it has been proven by local and international bodies that Buhari led administration has under performed in Economic sector and various areas of modern governance. Like the the GDP and Human Development Index HDI under APC is not encouraging nor improving.

For a better Nigeria we need a strategical and effective manager to improve and sustain the Economy.  Stating the fact that buhari and his team are indeed working assiduously to revive the State of the Nation, but due to their claims of a Corrupt System. Their policies and  strategies seem weak to withstand the face of Nigeria Corrupt System and despite their absolute Fight against the menace of Corruption.

Notwithstanding, coming up with the ideal voyage to rescue Nigeria Economy from the hand of this present administration that wish to continue their trial in salvaging Nigeria  Economy and Development from dilapidation.

Thou I know of many other individuals aspiring for presidential position to truncate the actual change and transformation Nigeria desire. But I will like to pick one out of the 25  candidate vying for presidency in the forthcoming presidential election in 2019.

The People democracy party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar the formal vice president of Nigeria in 1999 to 2007.  Many Nigerian have been saying, do we really have any candidate that exhibit a better strategy and effective managerial skill to develop a better Nigeria.

However, I will love to state some actual fact and realness, Nigeria need to vote in Atiku or other aspirants, but using  Atiku Abubakar personality in Business, Agriculturer, Education, humanitarianism, past experience in governance, Effectiveness in managing a public enterprises, love for true federalism and his participant on social media and social development.

Furthermore I would love to state the following of his personality that can make him a good manager and strategical planner Nigeria needs for a better Nigeria.

1.In business Abubakar started out in the real estate business during his early days as a Customs Officer. In 1974 he applied for and received a 31,000 naira loan to build his first house in Yola, which he put up for rent. From proceeds of the rent he purchased another plot, and built a second house. He continued this way, building a sizeable portfolio of property in Yola.

In 1981 he moved into agriculture, acquiring 2,500 hectares of land near Yola to start a maize and cotton farm. The business fell on hard times and closed in 1986. "My first foray into agriculture, in the 1980s, ended in failure," he wrote in an April 2014 blog.

He then ventured into trading, buying and selling truckloads of rice, flour and sugar.

His most important business move came while he was a Customs Officer at the Apapa Ports. Gabrielle Volpi, an Italian businessman in Nigeria, invited him to set up Nigeria Container Services (NICOTES), a logistics company operating within the Ports. NICOTES would go on to provide immense wealth to Abubakar. Conflict of interest accusations have since trailed him on account of his involvement in business while a civil servant, who exercised supervisory authority.

On his part, Abubakar has defended the decision, saying his involvement was limited to the ownership of shares (which government rules permitted), and that he was not involved in the day-to-day running of the business. NICOTES would later be rebranded INTELS, and go on to feature prominently in accusations of money laundering leveled against Abubakar by the U.S. government during his Vice Presidency.

Abubakar's business empire also includes a beverage manufacturing plant in Yola, as well as an animal feed factory.
Intels Nigeria Limited provides integrated logistics services for the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

It offers agency services; cargo services; port management and support services in shore bases; and manages client operations, including pipe racks, stacking areas, warehousing, enclosed areas, jetties, offices, water tanks, fuel storage, generators, compressors, and various other services and facilities.

1. Prodeco
Prodeco operates in Nigeria with two companies: Prodeco (Property Development Company) operating within the main territory of Nigeria and Prodeco International operating in Oil & Gas Free Zones.

The first company was incorporated in March 1996 as a property development company. Over the years, PRODECO has engaged in building, marine, and infrastructural construction for various clients in the oil and gas industry.

2. Agriculture Atiku Abubakar farm
He also has a farm in Adamawa state. In 1981 he moved into agriculture, acquiring 2,500 hectares of land near Yola to start a maize and cotton farm. The business fell on hard times and closed in 1986. "My first foray into agriculture, in the 1980s, ended in failure," he once said in 2014. However, since then his farm has expanded and blossomed.

3. Education ABTI schools
The major part of this is the American University of Nigeria (AUN). It is located in the city of Yola, capital of Adamawa, one of Nigeria's 36 states.

The campus, which occupies nearly 1000 hectares, is a serene mixture of desert and farmland. Adamawa, one of the six states in northeast Nigeria, shares the longest borderline with Cameroon Republic.

4.Humanitarianism
Atiku is a leader with the feelings for humanity, which birth his unrelenting concern for the Internally Displaced Persons, (IDPs)
He said: “As I clock 70 years this year, all my activities will be dedicated to the cause of the Internally Displaced Persons, not only Adamawa, but in Borno, Yobe and other IDPs camps spread across the country.”
He implored all his admirers who wish to identify with him as part of his 70th birthday to channel them to the IDPs.

5. Past experience in government, his leadership experience in Nigeria politics,
Atiku’s eight years administration under Olusegun Obasanjo reformed the economy to become more productive, diverse and globally competitive. This is why Atiku can confidently say boost of his administration.

He said: “By the time we left office in 2007, our economy was ranked 31st in the world in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which was estimated to be about $500 billion (estimate included both formal and informal economy). It became the second biggest economy in Africa.”

6.Effectiveness in managing public enterprises,Abubakar started out in the real estate business during his early days as a Customs Officer.

7. Love for true federalism Abubakar launched the True Federalism campaign in 2017. He has been delivering speeches all over the country inspiring Nigerians on the need to restructure the country. He has been receiving massive endorsement for his stand on True Federalism.

He recently declared at an event where he was conferred the award Hero Of Democracy by Hall of Grace Magazine.

“Political decentralization will also help to deepen and strengthen our democracy as it will encourage more accountability. Citizens are more likely to demand accountability when governments spend their tax money rather than rent collected from an impersonal source.”

He also said: "True Federalism will encourage states to competes to attract investments and skilled workers rather than merely waiting for monthly revenue allocation from Abuja"

Many of his speeches have caused positive stir nationwide as Nigerians are supporting the idea of True Federalism which involves allowing states to have control over their resources most especially the South South and South East of Nigeria.

8. His participation on social media Abubakar has been active on Twitter since the 2011 elections, but stepped up his engagement in May 2013. In August 2013, he became the only second Nigerian politician to be verified, after Lagos State Governor Tunde Fashola. As at November 2015, he had more than 390,000 followers. He currently has 450,000 Facebook fans. Also in 2013, he launched a blog. In an August 2013 post, he shared his views on the role and relevance of social media to governance and democracy in Nigeria.

What more do I have to state his love for Nigeria and the development of the country as a better place for all has proven in his intention to rule as the president of Nigeria. Despite series of controversies his faced in his political career, Atiku remains consistent on vying for the post of presidency..

So I feel for a better Nigeria a person of Atiku or Atiku Abubakar is fit and qualified to create a better strategy and effective managerial skill to develop Nigeria..
