European Aviation Safety Agency Allows Air Carriers Into Crimean Airspace.

There has been a decrease in flight risks for international air carriers over the Crimean Peninsula, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) said, the Interfax news agency reported Thursday.
On Wednesday, the agency published a bulletin declaring that two Crimean air corridors were at lower security risks than before, Interfax reported.
Nevertheless, EASA recommended that airlines use navigational data provided by Ukraine — the only internationally recognized state in the flight region of Simferopol.
Following the annexation of Crimea, EASA recommended that carriers avoid flying through Crimean airspace given territorial disputes between Russia and Ukraine.
